Abhishek Sharma breaks Virat Kohli’s eight year-old IPL record

 

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s young opener, Abhishek Sharma, has taken the IPL by storm this season! The 23-year-old batsman achieved a remarkable feat, breaking Virat Kohli’s eight-year-old record for the most sixes hit by an Indian player in a single season.

During his team’s match against Punjab Kings, Sharma smashed a staggering 41 sixes, surpassing Kohli’s previous record of 38 set back in 2016.
